Focal Point Picker
I built a custom admin interface that enables editors to define a focal point for images directly within the WordPress dashboard. Once selected, the focal point is used to intelligently regenerate image crops, ensuring optimal framing across all responsive image sizes. The system also integrates seamlessly with services like Cloudflare Images and WordPress VIP Image Transformation, dynamically updating image URLs via the appropriate filters to include focal point data for consistent presentation across platforms.

Collaborated with my team to develop a seamless integration of the Getty Images API within WordPress, enabling editors to search the Getty library and import images directly into the CMS. The integration ensures all associated image metadata is accurately retrieved and stored, streamlining editorial workflows.
Live Banner
Contributed to the development of a dynamic content tool that displays a banner featuring the latest news, with optional support for embedding a live stream via a mini player. The solution was designed to be fully compatible with CDN services like Cloudflare, ensuring efficient content delivery and optimal performance.
Newsletters
Developed a comprehensive newsletter creation section within WordPress, featuring custom Gutenberg blocks designed to follow best practices for email layout and compatibility. Integrated APIs from popular email marketing platforms—including Mailchimp, MailerLite, Campaign Monitor, and Moosend—allowing users to compose and send newsletters directly from the WordPress dashboard.
Custom Feeds for Content Syndication
To enable seamless content distribution across major news aggregators such as MSN, Yahoo, SmartNews, NewsBreak, Flipboard, and Yardbarker, I developed tailored RSS/XML feeds for each platform. Following each publisher’s technical documentation and feed specifications, I ensured that our articles were properly formatted and optimized for successful ingestion and syndication.
Custom Gutenberg Blocks for Homepage
I developed multiple custom Gutenberg blocks designed to generate flexible post card layouts for the homepage. These blocks include advanced filtering options, allowing editors to easily control displayed content based on post date, author avatar, excerpt visibility, and more. Editors can also filter posts by categories, tags, post types, exclude specific posts, and fine-tune the output to meet specific editorial needs.
